Momo Couture...
1 March 2010-Monday
-The Cheeguz

"I had a sumptuous dream of delicious momo platter, where I gorged on numerous types of momos. I was wishing and hoping and then Saturday, 27th of Feb it all happened! Looks like dreams really do come true"... My Cheegu friend's highly orchestrated melodrama... remember we are a team of two? Anyways back to reporting, The Bakery Cafe's Momo Mania 2010 sure did pack a punch with its 22 different varieties of momos and the live music. The former was expected and the latter, the music part left us in awe. The winners of this year's Sprite Band Challenge Competition, Sound Cuddles sure did prove their mettle with their performance.

Maybe you should promote the event under your Nepal Tourism Year 2011?

The night was mushroomed with numerous games that just added oomph to the whole momo orgy. Momo making, momo eating, beer and coke drinking competitions sure did leave the crowd pumped up. All in all it was a night filled with good food, amazing music and encounters with one too many celebs. While elbowing our way through the busy momo buffet we stumbled upon a once slim pop diva, who had promised us an interview like gazillion years back; big time liar. Now she was complaining about her water retention prone body and what nots. Really, delusional or plain dumb? One look at her plate and we could forecast her future... errr u get the picture right? Wink, wink, Hint!!

By the way our favorite was the dessert momo. The melt in your mouth with fruity centre, smothered in dark chocolate sauce was just the most unique and ultimate indulgence. Too much...
